At times when I looked up...

Clouds are something which give me an array of emotions.

When the clouds are heavy and dark I get scared about their tensed mood and the way in which they give the feel that they will wash away everything beneath them.

Then on a winter day when the sky is lovely blue few small clouds here and there give me a nice feel of some wanders with no idea about their destination.

They make me smile and I keep watching them for quite a long time till either they vanish into the air or move far far away. My heart feels very light after seeing them.

These are some of the images which I had made over past couple of years (the recent ones being today) which depict different moods of the clouds (and mine as well ?!!).

All images are made from my balcony at home.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Cheers,
Ash

the spinning wheel - could you elaborate on the technique used :)

Thanks Santosh.
That is a simple technique - rotate the camera and use a slow shutter speed.

Hi Ash!

Lovely write-up! And the images too..

I absolutely loved the sheer 'pure blue colour'in the background in most of the images :) Lovely! Its a pure colour. NO other shades in it, no mix up, nothing. Just the colour. As if a professional painter evenly painted it! :) We all know who this Painter is.

We have big (approx 3 1/2 by 9 1/2; 2 windows of this measurement and another 3 1/2 by 3 1/2? ) windows here in our home. And the kitchen part has the smaller one, which I mentioned in the bracket above. Whenever I am in the kitchen part (it is an open kitchen in the living room) I invariably look upto the sky and see that clouds are playing a match-making game. Or mix-n-match type of thing. It as absolutely live-the-moment kind of thing! I hope you understand this feeling, I can't describe it better.

Loved the 'whirlpool' image too!

Keep up the good work!

Love,
SAC
